Alice's Illusions

It's an Alice in Wonderland retelling with a twist!  Haunted by the weighted memories of her sister's mysterious suicide, seventeen-year-old Alice finds refuge in Hal, a quiet and devastatingly handsome newcomer in their school with an obsession with hats and a compelling darkness behind his hazel eyes. When Hal reveals they share a common thread by mentioning his dead brother, her pull toward him becomes too heavy for her to resist. Feeding into Alice's desire to learn the truth, Hal suggests she contact her dead sister through a ouija board but his ulterior motives threaten her safety. How deep and dark does Hal's rabbit hole go? How far will Alice reach to please him?
