This story begins in 1961, in a place not considered very significant, Phoenix Arizona. It was wide open to numerous factions vying for superiority. Two Afro American men, during a time of national unrest, rose to be Robin Hoods of the community and opened a night club called the “El Morroccoâ€. To avoid becoming the focal point for some viscous murders, they had to solve them, or lose everything. They were feared and loved men in a city with little rules. Mixed with laughter, crazy characters and a strong dose of “who did it?†and you’ll know why these men would always say...â€Ain't no hill fo a Steppaâ€.
