Aftermath

When Anavyx Elon, a seventeen-year-old girl from the Peaks, unleashes a fatal storm of spontaneous ice spatter, L÷thia's tenuous peace disappears in the blink of an eye. Her father, Tomlyn Elon, is the feared war strategist of the GROUST, an organization that terminated the last of the fire and the water Elementals. Tomlyn finds his world turned on its head when his only child is flagged a primary threat to his nation. The hunter becomes the hunted, their only refuge lies across the Great river, in the wilderness of the Flats. But the path to the Flats is through the lawless Canyonlands that cradles the Great river. Bandits and bounty hunters, force-mutated Elementals turned free-roving assassins, remnants of every GROUST project gone wrong-the Great river and its fringes hold them all. It will be one perilous journey, if not impossible.
