Melanie George just finished college and her nursing school and was ready to take on her first job as a nurse at Mercy General. She also had another first, her first apartment. Her life seemed on track and now that she had broken up with Brad, she looked forward to settling into some kind of routine work at the hospital. She took an apartment close to her work so she could walk if she had to. But it wasn't long after she settled in that her first walk home scared her to death. She was sure she was being stalked and she didn't know what to do about it. She had no idea who it could be.
