Adaire Winfield

Reluctant relic hunter Adaire Winfield searches the globe for items of power, cleaning up magical messes and collecting these artifacts for the Seal of Solomon. It's a pretty decent gig, with lots of all-expense-paid trips around the world. The downside is that he has to deal with a lot of nasty consequences: angry super-powerful beings, innocent people being turned into fish, or simple folks who don't understand the repercussions of using magical relics. It's his job to make it right, while not getting caught up in the power himself or pissing off too many of the jinn. Which Adaire manages to do far too often.
