Across the Pond

Mark Chandler ends his day by chasing a robber down Fifth Avenue in New York, dodging cabs, cars, bike messengers, and trucks. As a detective in the New York Police Department his life is far from average. Mark is sent to London for six months to receive training on terrorism prevention and return to train his precinct. Mark's unorthodox methods travel with him, as he takes a personal interest in a Russian Protection racket in a local London neighborhood. His new partner Jaleem Shamalli is not impressed and lets him know it. Aside from his new duties as a London Police Detective, his blossoming feelings for his new partner make for an interesting visit. From the murder of the rowing captain's wife to the attempt on his partner's life, Mark's life is anything but dull in his new job, across the pond.
