About This Book

ABSTRACT OF THE DARK NIGHT - is a segment from the whole story 'dark night of the Soul', that may be too complex for some readers. This story tackles the complicated and controversial issue of life in the hereafter as the soul experiences his total life experience including his thought, dreams, nightmares, fantasies as well as the reality of his day by day existence. In the black void he is slowly stripped of his essence, being 'reborn again' to the afterlife as he, the protagonist, tries to come to terms with his mortal life before judgment is placed upon him for all eternity. In this same void, he tries to assimilate and separate his dreams, nightmares and fantasies from the reality he lived and experienced. Here the protagonist must wrestle with his own identity as he moves through his distorted abstract life not only as a sinner but also as a renegade opposing Christ preferring his own principles to the logic of historical facts.
