Always one step behind the cold-blooded opposition and struggling to make sense of all the lies and betrayal, Evan doesn’t know who to believe or trustâ€"if anybody. The only thing he knows for sure is the consequences of making the wrong decision will be brutal. And his predicament isn’t helped when he finds himself the prime suspect in the latest murderâ€"looks like somebody with a hidden agenda just set him up.



With the reluctant help of Detective Ed Guilloryâ€"presently suspended for remodeling a suspect’s face whilst in custodyâ€"Evan goes after the stolen cash in the hope that it might lead to the killer and maybe some answers.
