When he gets word that a Shadowman, an old, wicked medicine man gone a good ways toward being a devil incarnate, is headed toward the troubled town of Silverton, Jed goes in to set things right. What he finds is a web of missing people, sorcery, ancient evil, and a few unlooked-for allies.
