A Season for Revenge

Derek Johnson is a member of the football coaching staff at Tipton High School. He has a colorful past, but his adventures don't begin until he plays in a poker game at the Tipton Golf and Country Club. The Tipton football team absorbs an awful beating in the opening round of the state playoffs. After a year filled with off-the-field adventures, the Tigers develop into one of the better teams in Oklahoma Class C football and earn the opportunity to challenge the top-ranked team once again. Using a mix of fact and fiction, this novel explores what can happen in a quiet little town.
