The 133rd anniversary of the Battle of Hemlock Falls is fast approaching--and everyone in town is ready to party. Everyone, that is, except Meg Quilliam. Her sister is busy preparing the Inn for the celebrations, but Meg has other things to worry about--like her fiance. The poor man just had three patients pass away under his care. Surprising, but not necessarily suspicious--until he discovers that all three dined at the Inn before dying. Even more surprising is the fact--revealed by a visiting Civil War reenactor--that Hemlock Falls actually lost the battle everyone's celebrating. Now, with a murderer on the loose and the whole town in turmoil, the Quilliams will have to fight hard to find answers--because this is one battle they're determined to win...
