A Killing in the Market

The murder of the Chairman of the Federal Reserve sends the stock market into a tailspin and creates the opportunity for a group of conspirators to reap a vast fortune from the market collapse. In the midst of the backlash, the true threat to the Nation emerges as the instigators move to take control of the economy itself. The President forms a task force to find the killer and appoints Tory and Jace to the select team. As the chase intensifies, the team begins to unravel the plot. The conspirators, busily trying to cement control of the economy, cannot risk exposure and mark the team for death. Tory and Jace think they have identified who is using the millions to lead the team on a world wide chase. But the pursued becomes the pursuer, and the enormity of the conspiracy bursts onto the scene and sweeps away all that Tory and Jace thought they knew.
