A Hitman's Journal

This story is about a journal that has been methodically kept up to date by a very successful hit man. When the journal is found, the ramifications of its contents begin to affect everyone around it. As the hit man tries desperately to escape the clutches of the law, another man is rapidly closing in--an aging detective who is about to retire. He is a dedicated lawman, trying vainly to score that one last big case. Caught between these two men is a woman whose life has been turned upside down.
