A Dark Place

Private Investigator, Sonoma (Sonny) Whittington, becomes entangled in a tapestry of deceit and danger when she takes on a seemingly routine case for the enigmatic businesswoman, Janine Thomlinson. Initially asked to investigate Janine's husband's suspected affair, the case becomes sinister when a suspicious accident leaves Janine hospitalised. As her investigation progresses, she discovers the Thomlinson mansion holds secrets far darker than a simple affair. Strange incidents begin to occur. A security guard is drugged, and surveillance footage tampered with, suggesting the presence of an intruder in the mansion. The danger escalates when Janine's financial advisor vanishes amid signs of a brutal struggle.
