A note delivered soon after betrays the truth: In an act of chilling vengeance, Sophie has been snatched away by Alexei Faber, her father's mortal enemy, trapped inside a machine where she will stay, frozen and asleep, for a hundred years.

Desperate to save his love, Henry gets tangled up with an unusual trio pursuing Faber on a mission through... dare he believe?... time. Henry must not only find a way to save his love, but help stop a plot that could unravel history.
