When a hospital puts profits before patients, it's only a matter of time before the sick begin to die…

Lenny Moss and his friends at James Madison Hospital are in the fight of their lives. The new hospital president, Robert "Third Reich" Reichart, has turned the hospital into a for-profit facility and launched a campaign to decertify the union. If successful, the decertification drive will destroy the union and devastate patient care. Staffing levels will be slashed, and most of the services will be outsourced to private companies.

In the midst of his fight to save the union, Lenny learns that a troubled coworker has died under suspicious circumstances. Was it suicide…or murder? With the bosses threatening to close the hospital if their slash & burn policies are not accepted, and with the police pressuring him to help investigate the mysterious death, Lenny faces his most difficult challenge.
