During the time before the Great War in the land of Munir two worlds prepare for battle; both sides subject to the ageless majesty of the Ancient whose rules and precepts eternally established to govern, forever to be unbroken. While finishing the last of a series of test to become a pilot of the Warrior Class, Anan comes face to face with the creature that he thought only existed in his nightmares. Gripped with fear Anan tries to make sense of what he sees in front of him; a creature that has taken the shape of a man but whose eyes cannot hide the malice it harbors. Unknowingly Anan thrust himself into a battle between the loyal servants of the Ancient of Days and the Fallen Anakim, those who rebelled against the Ancient's rule. Anan knew that his life was changing, but he was uncertain what part Callah would play in it. He wanted her to be his life mate, but she was torn between a former lover and the prospect of true passion. As two worlds collide, strategies planned and executed, decisions made and deceptions uncovered, will Anan choose to operate in his gift of Seeing into the world of the Anakim, recognizing his vital part in the outcome of the struggle or will the need for the affections for the lovely Callah alter the course of destiny?
