Love on the Line

In 1903 Texas Ranger Luke Palmer arrives in Brenham, Texas, with one goal—to capture the gang of outlaws led by Frank Corner. Undercover as a telephone repairman, he uses his days working the lines to search, not realizing there's another pair of eyes watching him.

Georgie Gail, switchboard operator and bird-lover, observes the new telephone man with growing suspicion--and attraction. Why does he spend more time shooting guns than stringing telephone wire?
