For Centuries, Castle Cnocanduin has stood on the edge of the Scottish Highlands, a sanctuary for many a young lass. For within its keep lies a beautiful well with an inscription etched in its white stone: "Any woman of pure heart who drinks from this well will find protection, strength, and happiness."

1725. Mary Katherine Donal must choose a suitor who will someday become laird of Castle Cnocanduin.
