You Don't Have To Be a Perfect Girl

"You're ruining your social life," says Liz's sister, "and you'll never find a guy if you spend your weekends doing handsprings."

"Gymnastics is so unfeminine," her mother complains.

Liz is torn. Gymnastics is her whole life. Her teacher says she's Olympic material, so she's in training, practicing every day. But hardly anybody approves. And her best friend Tracy, also a gymnast, is jealous of Liz's talent.

Then Roger walks into her life. He's a basketball player and understands Liz's rigid schedule. Almost before she knows it, she's head over heels in love with him!

But Liz still worries. She wants so much to be perfect. Can she make the state gymnastics competition, and be friends with Tracy... and remain part of Roger's life?
