Yesterday's Doll

Meg's never had a doll like Jessie....

Meg is recovering from rheumatic fever. So her grandmother gives her the old-fashioned family doll named Jessie. Meg thinks she is too old for dolls — until she falls asleep holding Jessie, and wakes up to discover she's gone back in time.

Now Meg has become Morag, a girl traveling west across the Canadian prairies by covered wagon. Soon, with Jessie's help, Meg is traveling back and forth between the past and the present.

And then she discovers why Jessie is helping. Meg has to make a choice, one that could change her life forever!
