Worry Whart's Viral Summer

A born worrier and friendless loner, Isaac -Whart- Newton is blessed with an awesome memory. Otherwise, he is a typical teen who is just trying to survive his cruel incarceration called high school. The recent threat of his parents' divorce has supersized his worries. Isaac and a group of teen campers become stranded on a remote Hawaiian island when a plague-like illness strikes Honolulu. Their quarantine prods Isaac to friend two campers: Chuck becomes his wingman and Kalani develops into a major crush. Exploring the island for food, Isaac and Chuck discover a journal that may be an outline for a fictional story. Or does it describe actual bioterrorist attacks, targeting Honolulu and four additional US cities? Able to sneak only a quick peek at the journal, can Isaac remember and communicate enough details to authorities in time to prevent a nationwide spread of the viral plague?
