When megabuck film producer/director Alan Laki is poisoned, private investigator J.K.G. Jantarro takes special interest. He'd been hired by Laki to investigate the bizarre spending behavior of the man's gorgeous wife, Camelia. But now Laki's been murdered, his empire is in chaos, and Jantarro is working for a dead man.

As for motives, Camelia Laki had millions of them ... all dollar bills. Toss in a greedy business partner, a gossip columnist and her guilty secret, a hotheaded, resentful brother-in-law; add three goons with homemade baseball bats, and it's lights ... camera ... action as Jantarro plays the lead in a script full of scheming passion, dirty deals and death.
