Nora Meeks has been struggling to care for herself and her children since a mining accident took her husband's life. However, being a widow in the town of Creede, Colorado isn't for the faint at heart and Nora is working hard to rebuild her life.

Choosing passion over privilege, Doctor James Thomas, better known as JT, came west to make a life for himself outside of his family's wealth and influence. When a stranger shows up in his clinic telling him he's needed in Tent City he goes, not knowing the trip would change his life forever.
