When Woody Beckman meets June Medina, neither expects the adventures that will follow. Dedicated go-it-alone survivors, they've learned not to trust anyone in post-zombie-apocalypse Arizona.

Woody thinks that June just might be too much for him. She's beautiful, smart, and way too good with a gun. Their jaunt to the Grand Canyon to put Woody's fungus theory of zombies to the test doesn't turn out quite like they expect and it will take everything they've got to survive.
