Winter's Doom

I knew what I did would have consequences.
I didn't realize it would bring the doom of the world.

The president of the university isn't happy with me.
Neither is the whole Living government, apparently.

But I signed away the truth,
swore myself - and all I know - to secrecy
and all I need to do is keep up the appearance that my life isn't
fundamentally changed by what I saw
in the Sunless Reach.

Of course that'll prove impossible.

After one defiant act
that spins the whole campus out of control,
I find myself once again face-to-face
with the Living Dead,
who apparently expect me to lead them
in some great Revolution
to take the world back as their own.

Do I betray the living, who cast me away?
Do I fight for the Dead, who hail me as their queen?

Once again, the fate of the world rests in my
hands, except this time, I'm not sure
I have the strength to stop what's coming.

And the very existence of Life itself
may depend on what I do next.
