Winning The Heart Of Adrienne

In order to avoid a loveless marriage to a man twice her age, Adrienne Dayton hops a train from San Francisco to New York City where she plans to start a new life. Trevor Lewis gets on the train to become a playwright in New York City. On their way there, she accidentally bumps into Trevor, and both of them fall out of the train and end up in a small town in Virginia where they have to work in order to pay for another ticket to get to New York. Though they initially hate each other, they begin to see that first impressions can be misleading, and when he falls in love with her, he's determined to win her heart, even when she tries to fix him up with another young woman in town.
