About This Book

In this, the fourth book in the series Seeds Of Legend, Princess Amrie Emrys struggles to find balance in a world torn by winds of change. Carrying her unborn child, she is hidden among the Old Ones, the ancient tribe that first set her Pendragon House on the throne. While she is hiding, awaiting her baby's birth, Amrie is unaware of the changes in her land. The dark goddess, casting the black death across the land, decimates the country and leaves Britain without a ruler. King Cerdic of the Saxon Shore, father to Amrie's child, struggles to hold together his own country even as he attempts to establish military rule until a Pendragon might be found to rule the country. When Amrie's child, a boy, is born, she realizes she must return to Camelot so that her son might take his rightful place in Britain. However, the world she finds is not the world she ran from. The Eastern Empire, after a promise of no further invasion, lands on Britain's shore, and a new Emperor, Justinian, seeks to claim Britain as his own even as King Cerdic of the Saxon Shore struggles to establish military rule of Britain and to find a Pendragon to sit the throne again. Will Cerdic rout the Eastern Empire from Britain's soil? Will Amrie and her baby son survive?
