Alex and his friends are going back to camp, unaware that once before they had a life changing adventure that altered the truth of reality. Now they find memories that should not be, and feelings that never happened and that they only know as part of the book Alex wrote; Totemic Haven. Finding themselves on the other side they have to come to terms with both their real memories and those they believe to be nothing more than fiction while finding a way back home in a world near its end.
