Wildcatter

The wildcat well discovery of a new oil basin brings oil wildcatter Hooter Hanson's small independent oil company unimaginable challenges when he and his company become entwined with the federal government falsely accusing him of financing Islamic jihad in the Middle East. He becomes intwined in litigation with an unscrupulous attorney representing a bank taking advantage of his federal problems. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security become involved. An attack on the Hanson wildcat well takes several lives and creates a massive environmental threat that the Army Corps of Engineers manages to contain.
