Having to spend a month on the fruit farm in Canada wasn't so bad. In fact, accompanied by her friend, Dinah, she was quite enjoying it. Even her uncle leaving half the farm to Lucie and half to his manager wasn't an insurmountable problem.

No -- it was Matt Leverson, the arrogant, forceful neighbor, who upset everything. Unfortunately Lucie fell in love with him and wished that he had designs on her instead of just her farm!
