About This Book

Wicked Tongues is a novel without a specific central character, as in my previous novels, it is so because I consider that all the characters mentioned here have the same connotative value. I believe that they are all an essential and integral part in the exploration and examination of the verb: to judge, which is the most complicated verb that can exist, according to my fickle and vain opinion. The novel examines the complexities involved when we make judgments about others. Is it good to judge people's lifestyles? Can one both mock and laugh at the misfortune of others? Is it bad to judge? Questions like these are answered through the actions of each character, who in one way or another cannot be detached from this truth: We are all, inevitably, judges of the lives of others.
