Wicked Games

Kathryn Foster is unlucky-in life and in love. She has wandered through her days merely existing. Nothing ever goes right for her. Nothing much ever happens. However, Kathryn is not one to blame the fates. She realizes that much of her unluckiness has been caused by her own aversion to change. She fears the new and unfamiliar, which has deterred her from pursuing her dreams. Two of Kathryn's closest friends know of her fears, so they take fate into their own hands. They introduce Kathryn to Casey, a handsome British bartender who threatens to destroy the precious equilibrium of her life. Through Casey, Kathryn is forced to change her life; and, in doing so, she finally begins to live. Just as Kathryn and Casey's budding romance begins to bloom, though, the two lovers are torn apart by circumstances outside their control. In order for them to find true love with one another, Kathryn and Casey must overcome serious obstacles. Will they spend their lives together, or does fate have other plans? Wicked Games is a love story, but it is also a story about the inevitability of change and the necessity of embracing the new in order to realize the full potential in each of us.
