Darci loves her diary more than anything else in the world. In her brown leather book she writes things she would never tell anybody—about her friends, the stuff that bugs her, what it would be like to kiss someone. Mostly, though, Darci writes about Travis, the cutest boy in the sixth grade.

One day Darci opens her bureau drawer and discovers her diary is missing! She's sure someone's taken it and she's got to find it soon. Otherwise every private thought she's ever had will be laughed at by the entire sixth grade. And everyone will know about her secret crush on Travis—even Travis himself!
