White Paint on Her Forehead is the story of three generations of women involved in interracial relationships and the angst these relationships create for them. Told with insightfulness into the subtle but far-reaching consequences of mixed-race romantic involvement, humor, and an occasionally sarcastic undertone, the story weaves itself through date rape, unrequited love, loss of trust between family members, suicide, revenge, and murder.



The issue of race in America, even in romance, is handled deftly by this author. Relationships between characters, established through work situations and chance meetings, turn the story around to one of forgiveness and the ability of the human spirit to heal and move forward with wisdom and dignity; but then the unexpected happens.
