Where Is This Light? Candice

Children are very literal, and this sometimes causes confusion when adults assume that little ones understand figurative concepts. Where IS This Light? teaches children that their little light isn't something OUTSIDE of them to physically have and hold. It's something very beautiful and powerful INSIDE them to nurture and develop. Their little light is actually a really big deal! It's them being them at their very best - when they do the right thing and feel really good about themselves. It's when they are true to themselves and the very best they can be - when they are curious and loving, thoughtful and kind. It also teaches children that their light shines brightest when then they use it to help others. Where IS This Light? empowers children to learn about positive self-talk and good behaviour, and to imagine a world where we all shine our little light for the greater good. What a wonderful thing that would be!
