Back in her hometown after a bitter divorce, Sara Holiday finds the tranquilty she seeks to be elusive when strange messages, dangerous threats, and assorted "accidents" lead her to believe that someone wants her gone.

When Sara Holiday's life was turned upside down by a failed marriage, she decided to set it right. Taking her young daughter with her she moved back to her peaceful hometown of Galveston, Texas and into her family's old hours. But no sooner had she settled into the house when odd pranks . then Sara witnessed a murder, a murder where the body disappeared. With no proof, even the police would not help her. Sara felt like she was going mad.
