When the Time is Right

This debut novel from author Robert Jacob contrasts the perils of war with the beauty of love and passion. Set in a near-future, Jacob brings us into the heat of a world at war, divided amongst socioeconomic lines. A certain allegory for the current trend of western politics is at work here, showing the stark divide between the outspoken few who rest along the extremes of our populations, and make us feel alienated from one another. The story of love and loss unfolds hauntingly before the reader's eyes, leading them into a true relationship with the characters, and poses an answer to the question addressed throughout the pages: Why are we here?
