About This Book

Come with Colton and Brooklyn as they face their parents‛ divorce. Follow their journey as they learn that love and friendship make every difficult situation, just a little easier.

Ms. Allen and her eighth grade middle school class asked to collaborate with our national award winning author and illustrator on a book about divorce. They wanted to help families everywhere better understand how, with thoughtfulness and support, they could help those they love get through this often trying time.

Tell Me Town is proud to have worked with this talented and caring group of students, their supportive teacher, and their compassionate school counselor, to create such a meaningful book.

The students provided ideal input on what would be important to children when parents are going through divorce. Artists in the class provided the artwork for the page at the end of the story which contains a poem beautifully written by a member of the class. The poem and artwork are meant to provide comfort and understanding to children and their parents, as they go through this challenging journey, and to help them see that everything will get better over time.

We hope that this book brings you, and those you care for, comfort and encouragement now and always.
