Brian can't figure out the new principal. The first day of school, Mr. Collins gave Brian a week's detention because of a silly misunderstanding. Lots of other kids have had problems with the new principal, too. That's why Brian and his friends decide they have to get Mr. Collins to resign. They plan to drive him crazy with a series of annoying practical jokes.

But Mr. Collins is tougher to crack than Brian imagined. After a few weeks, his best pranks don't even rattle the principal. Brian's ready to unleash the biggest practical joke of all—but is he the one who's in for a surprise?
