What Lies Underneath

One demon wants the truth. One demon wants to kill him. One demon is caught in the middle. In this, the first instalment of the Demon series, the mad demon Hetrus risks his own life in search of the ancient King. He has scoured the Forbidden Knowledge known only to humans. But this knowledge is outlawed by the demon Overlord Viax and the punishment for its possession is death. After Hetrus is caught, he pins his last hope on his young prison guard, Mylo. Secretly he starts to tell him of the forgotten King and the Overlord's treacherous past. Bored and longing for adventure, little does Mylo know how exciting his life is about to become - just so long as he can stay alive.
