About This Book

What I Think About You; Song Lyrics and Poetry is a collection of poems that were written from 1997 to 2010 from the author's experiences in his life. Slave Dancer I, II and III were written about the end of high school and through his college years from the fall of 1997 in Rice Lake Wisconsin to Brown College in the Fall of 1998. The song lyrics were mixed together and had to be divided up into separate sub-sections to reflect each other. The song lyrics in the sub-section REVERSE and Knights and Banshees reflected heavier and explicit words that had teeth vs the other song lyrics that were less offensive and derogatory. The Slave Dancer sub-sections were more abstract thinking and less intricate. The song lyrics and poems in the sub-sections; Powers of Virtue were all love songs and On This Side of the Wall were a mix of love songs, light and joy with song lyrics that expressed pain with affairs of the heart. The song lyrics and poems are superior to the compositions written in high school. What I Think About You; Song Lyrics and Poetry is first book that invented the drop cap format with each poem and is the last book to include a mix of poems of dark and light compositions.
