Carol Anne is a little girl obsessed with horses and wants one for Christmas. She asks Santa for one and at first her parents; Bill and Cassandra, think she just wants a plushy stuffed animal one. When they find that their little girl wants a real-life horse of her own, they scramble for a solution and end up adopting a beautiful, majestic black stallion named Midnight so that their little girl's most fervent Christmas wish will come true
