It was well known that what Chloe Somersham wanted, Chloe got. She wasn't spoiled or odiously rude. She was simply a very willful and spirited sprite, no doubt due to those blazing curls atop that pixie face. Despite her large dowry and her father's apoplectic pleas to make a suitable match, she remained unwed, dreaming instead of travel and adventure.

But when she met Liam MacRaith, Lord Mountrath, whose Irish eyes spoke of magnificent emerald isles and far-off magic, she made her choice. She wanted Liam -- despite her father's ranting (an Irishman!) or the fact that Liam had no intention of marrying this outrageous hellion. True, he desperately needed funds, and her fey Celtic beauty was intriguing. But he made his own decisions, thank you.
