What about the Truth?

Taleek Anthony Welch has yet to learn the importance of choosing one's friends carefully, but he's about to. Taleek was never made up of great moral fiber so it wasn't hard for him to find the wrong path in life but with a new fiancée and a child on the way, he's trying to do the right thing. Unfortunately for him, it may be too late. Congresswoman Barbara Dancler's daughter is murdered and Taleek is fingered as the prime suspect. In the face of betrayal, political aspiration and relentless determination for retribution, Taleek must navigate a biased judicial system and avoid being chewed up or he will have an appointment with the executioner to receive a lethal injection, assuming the mafia snipers don't kill him first. How can an innocent man find himself in so much trouble? In this day and age of competitive court battles, is it all just about winning and losing? Most importantly, what about the truth?
