Welcome Home Doc

Welcome Home Doc, the second book in the Logger's Ridge series, was not originally written to be part of the Logger's Ridge series. After completing the first draft, I realized how well it fit into that world with only a few minor changes. Welcome Home Doc starts roughly a third of the way into Stranger. It is focused on Lenny's story. It is a parallel story set in the same location with minimal crossover. It ends two-thirds of the way through Stranger, which means that Doc's time period is entirely enclosed within the Stranger time period. A pediatrician fresh from residency returns home to join his parents' medical practice. His challenges have less to do with medicine than with life and love.
