The worst part of living with Fibromyalgia isn't the flare-ups, pain, or exhaustion. Okay, who am I kidding? Yeah, it is. All that, plus the fact that people can't see what's wrong with me (hello, invisible illness!) so it's easier for them to think I'm lazy or faking it rather than that my body is constantly attacking itself.

It's made dating less than ideal in the tiny town of Pine Island.

So instead, I've focused on building my shop—Knit Happens—and the weekly Chronic Pain Crafters group, a group of women who truly understand each other. I don't need anything more than that. Until I get set up on a blind date with Michael Greer—a single dad, and our town's fire chief.
