We Are Waiting

Space opera: Even with the Earth teetering on the edge of self-destruction, humans continued to slug it out. That the end was nigh didn't deter them, but amidst the insanity of global war, the mission for the great ship the Goliath to send people to populate a new planet with humans was suddenly hanging by a slender thread. Duplicity on Old Earth and a conspiracy which had everyone under suspicion, put survival at risk. Captain Jarvis Jacobs never wanted to lead the mission or be captain of the Goliath. It had been his vision to build the ship and convince those in power to send it on a ten year journey for a fresh start on another planet.
