We Are The Elite

America is still at war in the year 2068, constantly threatened by terrorism. Its last chance of victory rests in a Special Operations branch, the Elite, which is composed of teenagers showing extraordinary prowess in the military. But many go MIA, kidnapped by terrorists or captured overseas. Some are never seen again, while others are rescued, only to betray their country. Irene Hunt is the only one who returns alone, having no recollection of her disappearance. She struggles to recover her memory, suspected of treason while Elite bases are targeted and bombed. Their destruction is inevitable when she finally remembers her ordeal, learning that a hidden enemy operates inside America, adding a deadly internal threat to the ongoing war.
