Walker's Promise

In the summer of 1942, Walker Young and his sister Annie are spending the summer at their grandfather’s farm in Kamas Valley Utah. Toward the end of the summer, Walker spends a week at Scout Camp in the High Uintahs with his friends from Ogden. While sleeping out at Camp Steiner, a fierce storm sends Walker scurrying for shelter in a cave. When he meets the ghost of a famous Indian chief, the adventure begins! Charged with returning ancient gold artifacts, stolen by Spanish miners centuries ago, Walker must find the legendary Carre-Shinob, which holds the ancient treasures of Montezuma. Along the way, Walker, and his grandfather’s Ute friends, encounter ancient beings, supernatural Indian sentinels, and dreaded skin-walkers in one exciting adventure after another. In the end, Walker’s sincere promise will surprise you
